Other Reasons
- Same species cooldown - All players in RDO are experiencing a 72 hour cooldown upon hunting legendary animals. This means when you killed a legendary moose, when you leave that instance/lobby you have to wait for 3 days (real life) until another legendary moose spawns again for you.
- Killed by another player - the legendary animal in your instance/lobby was already killed, you simply have to re-join another lobby to find it. In some instances the animal was being chased by another player or aggroed by a passing NPC and wondered somewhere else.
- Technical reasons such as server reset, bugs or griefers trying to hack animals, if it's the latter then resolved it by just joining another lobby or relogging back in the game
