What If New Mutants Restart The X-menverse

Fox revealed yesterday their upcoming X-men spinoff, "New Mutants". But why are they trying to build a new X-men film and discontinue the last? Well, let us blame Apocalypse wrecking the box-office chance and the cast's ever increasing talent fees. It would be a dream for every X-men fan to have an interconnected X-men story arc instead of individual films with different takes on the franchise.

angst-fueled, estrogen-driven

According to HollywoodReporter, "New Mutants.. will focus on the angst-driven adventures of a diverse group of teens that include Native American Danielle Moonstar, Scots girl Wolfsbane, Brazilian ladies man Sunspot, a Kentuckian code-named Cannonball and Russian teen Magik. Also in the mix will be an alien named Warlock."

Team Angsty

Maisie Williams, Arya Stark from "Game of Thrones" will be Wolfsbane, Anya Taylor-Joy of "The Witch" and "Split" is Magik, these two are among the first main cast reveal. 20th Century Fox will be working with a cast much younger than the "Days of Future Past". Josh Boone is to direct it who is known for the romantic drama "The Fault in Our Stars", yep that one. Fox sure is aiming for the young adults this time contrast to the mature rated Logan and Deadpool, and the X-men Apocalypse that couldn't be much worse even in yellow spandex.

this is the end
Fan Hopes, and Dreams
What if they connect this X-men spinoff not just to the X-men movie but to all X-men movies? The group will be lead by Magik, the Soulsword wielding teleporter who is also Colossus younger sister. Colossus was in Deadpool, there was another teenager there, "Negasonic Teenage Warhead". And then there's one in Logan too.

clawed pair

The New Mutants roster will have the similar age group of X-23, a.k.a Wolverine's girl Laura Kinney in the "Logan". Dafne Keen's performance as X-23 is nothing but exemplary, she embodied the traits of a younger female Wolverine perfectly. I'm sure all of us, want to see more of X-23, if possible, too bad Logan was the last Wolverine movie. Negasonic Teenage Warhead is also interesting to see again since we didn't see much of her in Deadpool. Knowing how huge Deadpool's ego is, I doubt we will see more of Negasonic in Deadpool 2.

Mother Hen warned "Do not to cross the road"..

Here is an idea. Since Fox is planning on a mutant teens to form the nex X-men, why not add X-23 from Logan and Negasonic Teenage Warhead from Deadpool? This is the superhero trend, Marvel and DC are correlating their movies into one massive interconnected movie franchises. I think this is the time for 20th Century Fox to get their properties together. They can even join forces with Sony and invite their superhero teen, Tom "Peter Parker" Holland in the mix. A guest starring to add a bit of humor, stir the estrogen levels of the teen lineup. Any fan of X-men will surely be ecstatic.

let us form it already

I know what you are thinking, New Mutants have different members. Is it still too early or  too late to form any X-men subgroups like; the X-men Ultimate, the X-Factor, Excalibur, Earth X or the X-men of Two Worlds? The time is nigh, adding Negasonic Teenage Warhead and X-23 will make New Mutants something else, it will make X-men and Marvel fans something to drool on. These two will also extend the legacy of former Team-X, Wolverine and Deadpool in the mix, hell they can even do their cameos on post credits.

Team-X Factor

Imagine, a third party joining Disney's MCU and Warner Bros' DCEU rivalry, why not? X-men have massive memberships and intergalactic villains hailing from different universes and timelines, they produced many teams as much as Marvel's Avengers and DC's Justice League. Weaving together the Fox-owned Marvel properties together into X-menverse will be huge! Let's go Fox, X-men fans let me see your thumbs up!
