1. If you are facing an aggressive legendary animal make sure you health is full, eating food that buffs your health will keep you from instant death
2. Mind your surroundings, use the terrain to your advantage
3. Clean your weapon for optimal damage
4. Don't use shotgun, dynamite, toxic moonshine, fire or explosive ammo, they will ruin the legendary pelt making them useless to Gus
5. Focus on chasing the legendary animal, if it disappears in your radar long enough it is good as gone
