Ancestors the Game

Ancestors is from the original creator of the Assassin's Creed mega series and Prince of Persia Sands of Time saga, Patrice Desilets. The game is an open world survival game where you play as the evolutionary ancestors of human beings the Hominids. Like any survival game the aim of the game is to gather, nourish and well, survive. Survive a fall, hunger, thirst, cold, food poisoning, snake bite and the predators.

Death in the game is not the end or a failure, rather a lesson and it happens just like death in real life. The game promises not to help you and let you explore and learn for yourself. The primary goal is to learn, evolve and be ready for the future the survival of the clan rather than by just one character but too many deaths will lead to the end.

You probably never heard of this game before, in fact only a few days before its Epic Exclusive PC release, gaming journalists only just began writing about the game. The game's initial take on the game was too sciency rather than an actual video game. Let's talk about the man behind the game. After his departure at Ubisoft Entertainment Patrice created his own team and that is how Panache Digital Games was created, and their first project is this open world game based on the Science of Charles Darwin's Evolution of Man. The game is being published by Private Division, a young game publisher who is also the publisher of Kerbal Space Program and upcoming game The Outerworlds.
