The expansion is holding a free public test for PC starting today. If you miss the free starter edition, don't fret you can get a free taste not just the game but the expansion Marching Fire from today September 6th to 10th on PC on PC now.

What to expect from the Marching Fire? A new faction, the Wu Lin, based on the martial warriors of ancient China. They will be represented by four new heroes, Shaolin monk, king's guard Tiandi, Jiang Jun the general and female bodyguard assassin the Nuxia. Breach mode will be added in the game as For Honor's version of castle siege along with 3 new maps. A new arcade mode will also be added in the game that offers single player  experience, this will be playable immediately for those who pre-ordered the Marching Fire or next season pass. Let's hope others can play this mode too later.

The game will have a significant graphical enhancements maybe just for the console because the PC version is already in HD as it is. Just take a look at these screenshots without the UI, this is in meduim texture with no ambient occlusion, low shadow, FXAA anti-aliasing and 2X anisotropic filtering. They are maybe adding 4k textures or just adding pimples and warts on warriors faces.
