We will all soon forget the woes of "For Honor" and get excited for the arrival of the new Assassin's Creed *crossing fingers. Doh! I almost forgot, I haven't played my Guillotine Edition of AC Unity and its already gathering cobwebs.

It was announced by Ubisoft last year through their AC blog that there will be no new Assassin's Creed game after Syndicate. They have been very busy since. Last year they released new games "Far Cry Primal", "Watch Dogs 2" and new IP like Steep and "Tom Clancy's The Division". 2017's first quarter has been average for the publisher cum developer, Wildlands came out, new sequel to "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon" series.

And their early flagship "For Honor" which was ridiculed by gamers due to its multiplayer issues and sans dedicated server. Ubisoft's creative team also dipped heavily in the making of the Assassin's Creed debut on the big screen. I love that movie, it gave us goosebumps while watching the action scenes.

Last week it was reported in WWG that Ubisoft will announce a new Assassin's Creed game titled "Origins", previously named "Assassin’s Creed Empire" according to an early article from Kotaku. WWG sources said that the game will be set in Egypt and like the "Assassin's Creed Syndicate", it will feature both male and female playable characters.

The sequel said to have more exploration freedom on land and sea. The player gets to traverse the seas of Mediterranean, Greece, and parts of African continent. The New AC game will be announced at E3 2017 and likely to be launched this fall. We just have to wait a little while longer. But apparently, somebody "leaked" a preview of the game on Assassins Creed Reddit.
