The most anticipated Game of Thrones is back, and most probably it will be another record-breaking year for HBO before the show's final season next year. The beloved and most hated characters of the Westeros and Essos are seen in these production stills.

most coveted, most uncomfortable non-IKEA furniture known to Westeros |
Despite her sufferings and loss in season 6 events, Cersei's proved to us her formidable constitution and cunning by crushing her rivals in one blast catapulting her on top of the throne room. Assisted by her loving brother, the Mountain who was back from the brink of death and a new cunning ally Maester Qyburn. I wonder who might her audience be in this image? Could it be the mother of dragons?

badassery comes in small packages and furcoats |
Lady Lyanna Mormont herself, the youngest leader of the alliance of the Northerners. House Mormont of the Bear Island is a clan of dying numbers, will Jorah find his way back to his homeland despite having an incurable disease with him?
 |
Ser Four-Little Fingers Services include but not limited to dead kings and(or) risen |
Ser Davos Seaworth, what are the odds of Ser Davos landing on the Winterfell territory serving another Throne candidate, who have the blood and ancestry just like his former sire. I think his knowledge on greyscale from Shireen Baratheon disease will somehow help someone like Jorah just in case they meet in Westeros. The connection is there, the House Mormont is with Jon Snow and Jorah is finding a cure, someone that desperate might go home too right?
 |
the Lady and the Lump |
It's looking like Sam is getting his geek on as he, Gilly and little Sam made their way on the Citadel. Thanks to Bran's three eyed raven abilities we already know who Jon Snow is, so what else Samwell Tarly can find in the Oldtown citadel library?
 |
dragging raven two eyes is one heavy bird-en |
Hodor's door-holding demise was anything but timely and heroic, this made Bran and Meera's situation looking pretty grim. Time travel, stasis foretelling, and shamanistic transference called warging maybe Game of Thrones fanciest super powers but being immobile is hard as salmon dodging twenty hungry black bears in the rapids. Bran's Uncle Benjen was a surprising reveal last season but he has territorial limitations. Unless Santa and his reindeers go to Westeros or Meera developed teleportation or spatial displacement, who can help these two?
 |
Guy: [insert pick up lines here] |
Game of Thrones shocked the world by having endearing and twisted love affairs, two blonde royal siblings, an armpit-shaving gay couple, a triangle between a dwarf, father and a whore, and a love hextruple between a mother, her two bodyguards and her dragons. This time around, GoT is hinting another one with the savage wildling leader Tormund enamored when he saw the towering Brienne of Tarth, who we all know almost killed the same man of his stature during the duel with The Hound. Goodluck to the guy, did he just found love?
 |
my little fingers are for playing the fiddle dear |
Speaking of odd pairings, the sly gold-digging, moon-door pusher Little Finger has amassed wealth and army from the shifting of events and he is looking to settle for the last generation of Stark women, Sansa. He is potentially a more sinister candidate and most ambitious among the takers of the iron throne. He is bound to be a traitor at some point, will this season be his time to shine?
 |
a dog in the winter |
If Jaime has difficulty deciding which side he is on, this dog is biting all sides making him a possible ally of the Winterfell as a reborn killing machine. With Arya on the move and him traveling north, there is a possibility of encountering either of the Stark girls and Brienne, this meeting will be eventful for sure. But I hope he lives long enough until The Hound redeems himself dueling his brother in the end of the series.
 |
Mr. Jon "Now I know Something" Snow |
The character that broke the hearts and panties of teenage girls and cougars alike. The finale that almost caused massive boycotts among the Game of Thrones fans only to introduce the ultimate twist in the Fire and Ice lore. George R.R. Martin is known for slow-torture, wicked plots but what D.B. Weiss and David Benioff did to Jon's character was an epic prank on the mindsets of all GoT fans. The prince that was promised, is he really?
 |
Vengeance will be mine |
Arya Stark has to be one of the characters we are all rooting to succeed, but this show can only keep your hopes up for so long. This still looks like a tavern out of Essos, a possible sight for the Brotherhood without banners, the group led by Lord Beric Dondarrion. Dondarion in the book resurrected Catelyn Stark after the events of the red wedding. The resurrected Stark mother became a persona of vengeance eventually leading the brotherhood of outlaws as Lady Stoneheart. Will Game of Thrones reveal the Lady of Vengeance this season?
If Catelyn Stark did not come back maybe the producer of the show might just turn Arya into Lady Stoneheart? If so, this Stoneheart will very different one, Arya has the abilities and training from Jaqen making her a very skilled personification of retribution.

goldilocks of your dreams? dracarys! |
Daenerys Stormborn, the unburnt, mother of dragons, titles, titles, one of the most powerful claimants of the iron throne. After the season finale, we expect her to grace the shores of King's Landing this season. Will she meet the Greyjoys or Jon Snow? Herds be damned, now her dragons will be feasting on all the cattles and goats of Westeros.
 |
the balls on this guy |
The Spider Lord Varys, dynamic character who elevated from a mere eunuch to the most reliable ally of Tyrion Lannister. A depot of spies and information rivaling the likes of Maester Qyburn. His sense of neutrality is non-threatening but his value comes with great advantage for Tyrion so far. That allegiance can change though.
 |
unsullied still |
Not much to say about Missandei let just leave it to Greyworm.
 |
kingslayer's brother, kingslayer's father's killer |
Tyrion Lannister looking very attentive here among the leading cast of the Game of Thrones for most nominations and including wins from Emmy and Grammy played by Peter Dinklage. Every underprivileged person will grow affection to this character, Targaryen. Daenerys Lannister siblings?
 |
children, play in the sky, mommy's talking to baddies |
Dany landed in Westeros with her allies and the Unsullied army but where? Not King's Landing that is too early. She will find likely allies in Dorne. Maybe the Iron Islands where her new allies, the Greyjoy siblings need to claim as their own. I think the Pyke is most suitable for them to go and claim more ships. How about Crownlands, Dragonstone? She can re-establish her Kingdom there where the first Targaryens reigned.
