Destiny 2 is a Great Looking PC Game But...
Destiny 2 is impressive, specially to a first time player. The story is decent, the missions are long and the planets (or moons) are awe-inspiring. The music is good, but expected from a triple A game.

The dialogues varies from serious to cheesy one-liners from the comic relief chracter Cayde 6, a familiar voice to all fans of Firefly.
The story begins from an invasion of a rogue sector of the Cabals and its leader "I am Ghaul" wanting to claim the power of its Godly The Traveler, which is basically the ability to spawn in the game and the powers you gained from the original Destiny 1.
You get to create a player from 3 classes of 3 races with male and female counterparts. The old Half-Life trend of a mute protagonist is in play, yes, you don't talk in Destiny 2. Apparently, the developers invested their budget to marketing instead of voice-overs.
After finishing the story, the game features a multiplayer match-up between 8 players called The Crucible.
The mode claims to balance regardless of the character's level but the experience obviously is not, the skills are locked and limited, your armor at lower level takes very little effort to be defeated by players in higher levels.
Get this, there was an event called the Iron Banner, it's just the PVP or "The Crucible" with different rewards.
Playing the story is satisfying but after that, game stops being creative.
You will realize this game is not worth buying, better to rent it or borrow from a friend for the experience.
The game will entice you to grind for better gears and weapons by doing The Crucible, repeating the campaign re-exploring the event maps and dismantling your gears for reward tokens.
The game's dungeon-runs have different names but basically a dungeon with more complicated mechanics is bound to have better looking rewards.
From what I read from Destiny 1 players, this game is basically a re-hashed improved version of the first game.
Hands down though to their art department or its original creative team.
I can't say for sure how its going to be different for the expansions like the Curse of Osiris but I can already foresee its future.
Save your money and move on.
