Assassin's Creed Odyssey: How to Get Poseidon's Trident from Level 1

Poseidon's Trident is a legendary weapon enabling player to breath underwater, getting it at the beginning of the game can be a challenge since it is located on the opposite side of the map and guarded by an elite lion and 2 others that are 30 levels higher than you.

Here's a guide how to get the level 41 legendary spear, Poseidon's Trident to unlock breath underwater engraving from the very beginning of the game.

How to Get a Ship

Finish the prologue, from the start, follow the main story line or Markos quests up to "Fancy Guests" and finally the quest "The Big Break" to get your ship. You can either continue Barnabas ship tutorials or sail straight to Korinth to find a port on the other side. Call the Adrestia from the Port of Kechies and sail from there to get to the island where temple of Poseidon is located.

How to get the Legendary Spear and unlock "Breath underwater"

Save your game, then sneak your way to the legendary chest and avoid the lions at all cost. Loot the chest really quickly and sail away. Congratulations you just unlock the legendary engraving "Breath Underwater". Unlock the nearest waypoint south or go back to Korinth and talk to a blacksmith. You cannot equip the trident yet, use the blacksmith to engrave a weapon with "Breath Underwater", equip it to enable you to breath underwater and swim with the whales, enjoy!

This new ability let's you dive, stay underwater for as long as you want, find treasure chests in the shipwrecks and get hidden legendary and epic items easily.
